Tempur-Pedic mattresses are made of a high-density version of memory foam. This foam, Tempur-material, was developed by NASA to absorb the massive amount of pressure inflected on the astronauts during take-off and landing. But why would they think to use this material in a mattress?

Tempur- Material is much denser meaning it is less likely to show body impressions over time, and it supports your body weight much better.
